We only order tasks manually, they are not automatically ordered by due date.

I notice that my tasks appear in the order I added them, even when they have due dates. Is there a way to sort by due date?

This example of the Party sounds like a definition of a Project. The Project is the Party. The next action is RSVP (@phone), then maybe Get a Suit (@store or @home) and then Attend Party with the Event on your calendar. If you only label one action then you continue to have an "Open Loop" You have to continually think about moving that RSVP item to the date of attendance. Create project, identify all steps involved, list all separately...no more open loops.

Even if the Scheduled focus is not on the IPhone does it still take effect using it on the web and syncing over on the scheduled day into Today.

I'm considering switching from Things to Get It Done for various reasons. Within 5 minutes of trying Get It Done, I'm frustrated that I can't use the Scheduled area on my iPhone and iPad. I'm a heavy user of that feature in Things. On March 10, 2011 in this discussion, Mike said they are working on this feature for the mobile apps (yay!) but that they do not have a release date. Mike, it has been nearly 5 months since that comment. Do you have a release date planned now? Thanks!

You can do this already, just click the repeating icon and schedule the repeating task for every 3 months
